Mr. Donald James Jeter (Duck) son of the late Eddie and Lorine Jeter, was born February 28th 1962 in Winnsboro SC. He departed this life on February 27, 2025.
Donald attended Winnsboro High School where he later went to work for Hollis Concrete for many years, afterwards he worked for Browns Construction until his health declined. Duck was a very talented Cement Finisher that was particular about his work. He never met a stranger; he was loved and trusted by everyone.
Donald leaves to cherish his precious memories: A son James Alexander Harrison. Two sisters, Dorothy Jeter of Winnsboro SC, Rudene Mobley from Columbia SC, Five nephews: Charles (Theresa) Ashley of Columbia SC, Myron Ashley of Columbia SC, Kelvis Alston and Telvis Thompson of Columbia SC and Jermery Mobley of Winnsboro SC, Two nieces Shalamar Mobley of Winnsboro SC and Ashley Mobley of Columbia SC, one great nephew Charles Ashley II of Columbia SC, three great nieces Shi'Kyrrah and Sha'Niyah Mobley of Winnsboro SC, and Ayanna Ashley of Columbia SC.
Donald was preceded in death by his mother and father Eddie and Lorine Jeter, 3 brothers Charlie and Bernart Ashley and Melvin Jeter.
Funeral service for Mr. Donald J (Duck) Jeter will be 12 noon Saturday March 8, 2025 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180. Visitation will be Friday March 7, 2025 from 1 pm to 6 pm.
