Donald Kaiser Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by James J. Palmeri Funeral Home - Martins Creek on Jan. 27, 2026.
Donald J. "Tuggar" Kaiser, Jr., 70, of Bangor, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on January 3, 2026, seven months after he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Born on August 28, 1955, in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of the late Donald J. Kaiser, Sr., and Patricia (Eick) Kaiser

Tuggar was a lifelong trucker, owning and operating Donald J Kaiser Jr. Trucking as well as Kaiser's Mulch in Bangor, PA.

Tuggar was one of one, a good man who would do anything for a friend in need. He loved his family, the preservation of Brockway trucks, and spending time with his Husky Hauler buddies. He loved attending his kids' and grandkids' sporting events, stopping on the way home at Daisy Dairy Bar for ice cream and putting black pepper on everything.

He was a 1973 graduate of Phillipsburg Catholic High School. While not a devout catholic the rest of his life, he did not eat meat on Fridays in Lent.

In addition to his wife, Dawn, Tuggar is survived by his daughter, Dylan Kaiser, and sons, Donald J. Kaiser, III, and his wife Allee, and Derek Kaiser, and his partner Gemma Bozzi, two step-daughters, Jamie Jahada and her partner David and Jessie Jahada, two sisters, Susan Cartel, and her husband Todd, and Phyllis Kaiser, and her partner Jim, and two brothers, Joseph Kaiser, and his wife Cindy, and William Kaiser and his partner Lori Frankenfield, seven grandchildren Kaen, Donald IV, Della and Madi Kaiser, Anthony Knight and his partner Hannah, Aniston Call, Tess Jahada and her partner Eric, and three great-grandchildren Cameron, Caliegh, and Carson Smith.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 21st, at James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, 6602 Alpha Avenue, Martins Creek, PA. A private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fightin' Foran's Foundation, fighting to cure pancreatic cancer. https://www.fightinforansfoundation.org/
