Donald Wayne "Don" Keller

Donald Wayne "Don" Keller, age 60, of St. Augustine, passed away peacefully at his home.

Don was born in Ohio and grew up in Mancato, Minnesota, where he formed the strong work ethic and easygoing spirit that would define his life. In 2006, he married the love of his life, Tracy, in St. Petersburg. Together they built a life filled with adventure and companionship, living in Nampa, Idaho, before relocating in 2020 to St. Augustine, a place they were proud to call home.

In St. Augustine, Don worked as a pool attendant and security guard at Ocean Grove RV Park, where his friendly presence and dependable nature were appreciated by residents and visitors alike. He was also a valued employee at Father Time, where he enjoyed selling clocks and helping customers find the perfect piece. Don took pride in his work and the relationships he built through it.

Don loved the outdoors and felt most at peace surrounded by nature. He enjoyed camping, spending time outside, and flying his drones. Saturdays were especially meaningful to him, as he faithfully joined the dog walks with the trainers in downtown

St. Augustine - a simple pleasure that brought him great joy and connection.

He is survived by his wife Tracy Erkelens; children, Christian Erkelens (Alissa), Nicklaus Erkelens and Ferrari Ruiz (Stephen); mother, Ruscelle Mahinski; grandchildren, Braylin, Hudson and Selena; sisters, Karin Keller (Bev), Kim Saylor (Brian) and Heather Hodges and his niece and nephews, Rachel, Jacob and Ben.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:30pm on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Anastasia State Park. The park has an $8 entry fee per car up to 8 people.
