Donald Ray Kosier, 80, of Shreve, died May 8, 2025 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Donald was born November 25, 1944 in Wadsworth, Ohio to Gerald and Nola {Thompson} Kosier.

Donald graduated from Wooster High School, He then proudly served in the U.S. Navy.

Donald worked at Wooster Brush for 58 years since departing from the Navy. He loved to watch his grandkids grow up and play sports. Donald enjoyed being outside and working on the farm, he always stayed busy.

Donald will be deeply missed by his son Jody (Misti) Alan Kosier of Wooster; daughter Michelle (Robert) Renee Patterson of Shreve, Angelique Kosier of Dalton; grandchildren Kody (Julie), Dakota (Lauren), Hunter (Carissa), Christian, Taiven; great-grandchildren Ella, Kalen, Charlie; step-son Gregory (Samantha) Blevins; step-daughter Erica (Kevin) Tropkoff; brother Jerry (Linda) Kosier and his sister Laura Harris.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; brother Larry Kosier and his son David Scott Kosier.

Friends may call Wednesday May 14, 2025 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services follow at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Donald-kosier) with Chaplain Daron Butler officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
