Donald Gilbert Lassiter received his angel wings on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Donald was born on March 29, 1958 in West Palm Beach, Florida to Tommy and Daryl-Ann Lassiter. He was a lifetime resident of Palm Beach County.

Donald attended and served Cross Community Church in Palm Beach Gardens for over 20 years. When Donald wasn't busy running his landscaping company, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle with The Soldiers for Jesus motorcycle club spreading the word of our Lord, as well as being on the water in his boat or spending time with his family.

Donald will be remembered for his generosity, loyalty, reliability, smile, laughter and his unconditional love for his children and grandchildren.

Donald was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Tommy and Daryl-Ann Lassiter.

He is survived by his best friend and little brother, Robert Lassiter (Brenda) of West Palm Beach; daughter, Katrina Malone (Gerald) of Okeechobee; step-sons, Daniel Crowe (Elizabeth) of Clewiston and Chad Williams (Angie) of Clearwater; step-daughters, Catrina Williams of Jacksonville, Emily Bales (Chris) of North Palm Beach, Alexandra "Ally" Colangelo of Chicago, and Sarah Colangelo of Jupiter; grandchildren, Dylan, Brady, Cierra, Karah, Davin, Gabriel, Zach, Nathan, Madison, Porter and Shep; niece, Breanna Lassiter; nephew, Tommy Lassiter; and great niece, Danayah Daniels.

A service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 10:30 am at Cross Community Church in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to Hospice of Okeechobee.
