Donald McDougald, age 86, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family. Donald was a devoted father and friend. He is survived by his daughters, Robin and Rhonda McDougald; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson, due in November. Donald also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who were like family to him!
A celebration of Donald's life will be held on August 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at R U Ready Ministries, 12540 Pulaski Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32218. We will gather to honor his memory and legacy of love, strength, and resilience he leaves with us!
He will be forever missed and never forgotten!

I have so so many childhood memories ... one that has stuck with me to this day game that I play with my grandchildren ,nieces and nephews to this day, is the counting your ribs game .Uncle Donald would give us like .25 or .50 if he counted our ribs and we didnt laugh.( so difficult as a 9-10 year old ) covering my mouth ,biting my lip desperately trying not to let a giggle slip .. wanted that $$ to run around to the corner store of Aunt Marys and get a soda and a treat . Of course, the cost of counting your ribs have gone ..up the memories are priceless. Love you all .
