Don McQuitty passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025. He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Alberta and Robert "Cotton" McQuitty, his brother, Gary, sister Linda Tuttle, nephew Wade and nieces Jessica Skinner and Windy Luke-Thomas.
Don is survived by his wife, Chris, daughter Misty, son Jonah, sons Ryan and Trent Brewer, seven grandchildren: Jacob, Hayden, Ashlynn, Jayden, Dane, Jesse and Margot and his brother Steve and nephew Breene.
Don retired from his position as CEO of NW Electric Cooperative in 2014 after serving on state and national cooperative boards, known for his quick wit and unbelievable knowledge of rural electric co-ops. He will be incredibly missed by his family, friends and colleagues.

In was a privilege to know Don for many years. My condolences to Chris and family for your loss. He was a pioneer in his field and changed many lives in the process.

Don was a wonderful person and valued friend. I valued his opinion and respected his priorities. He helped so many in wsys they never knew. I will miss him often and remember his friendship. Rest in peace my friend.
