Donald B. Miley Sr., 89, of Chambersburg, passed away on November 2, 2024. He was born on October 14, 1935, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, to David F. Miley Sr. and Arabelle (Kyler) Miley.
Throughout his lifetime, he worked at Letterkenny Army Depot and retired after twenty years of employment. After retirement, he worked for Falling Spring Corporation as a Maintenance Man until his retirement again. After this, he helped his friend Allen Long at his business and still helped out when needed at Falling Spring Corporation. Donald served in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by two sons; Roy D. Miley of Chambersburg and Donnie B. (husband of Karen) Miley Jr of Chambersburg. Donald has two grandsons; Adam and Luke Miley of Chambersburg, great-grandchildren; Parker, Lucas, Quentin and Coraline, as well as siblings; Pearl, Sandra and Rodney.
In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his wife Shirley J. Miley and 13 siblings.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Donald's name to the American Legion or the VFW.
