Donna Faye Miley, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, in
Bradenton, FL, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and creativity. Born on January 5, 1951, in
Panama City, FL, Donna's life was a testament to the power of unwavering faith and the beauty of a life well-lived.
Donna was the cherished wife of Dan Miley, with whom she shared countless memories and the simple joy of Saturday night date nights that were the highlight of their week. She was a beloved mother to Keith Miller and Stephanie Haftke, whose lives were deeply enriched by her wisdom and love. Donna's grandchildren, Aidan Waylon, Noah Shoulson, and Emma Shoulson, were the sparkle in her eye, and she poured into their lives the same love and guidance she so generously shared with all her family.
Though preceded in death by her mother Montez Marker, stepfather William Marker, brother Harry Grandville, and sister Bobby Sewell, Donna's spirit of family unity lives on through her siblings Allen Hutchinson, Kelly Marker, and Martha Berryman. She was a cornerstone of her family, offering a listening ear and a heart full of encouragement.
Professionally, Donna was the epitome of diligence and grace as a secretary within the judicial and healthcare systems. Her colleagues knew her as someone who brought light to every task and comfort to every interaction. Her work was not just a job; it was a ministry of caring for others through her daily tasks.
Donna's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. As a proud and active member of her church, she embodied the love and teachings of Christ in every aspect of her life. Her interests reflected the depth and breadth of her character. She was an artist who crafted beautiful jewelry, a book lover who found solace and adventure within the pages, and an explorer who delighted in the wonders of the world on cruise ship voyages.
As an inspiration to us all, Donna lived by the words of Helen Keller: "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Donna not only felt those things with her heart but helped others to feel them as well.
Today, we celebrate Donna Faye Miley, a woman of faith, love, and joy. Her life was a journey of compassion and service, leaving a path for us to follow-a path lit by the love of Christ and the warmth of her spirit. Her memory will forever be a guiding star to all who knew her, and her legacy will continue to inspire. We are comforted by the knowledge that Donna now rests in the loving arms of her Savior, leaving us with memories that will be cherished until we meet again.
