Donald William Molander, 55, of Middletown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, August 09, 2023. Don was born on October 18, 1967, in Queens, New York to Donald and Charlotte (Irwin) Molander.
After graduating, in 1985, from Dauphin County Vo Tech he met the love of his life and best friend Kimberly Danner. They were united in marriage in August 1995 and spent 29 years building a legacy. Together, they raised two beautiful and independent children; a daughter, Miranda and a son, Dane.
Donald was a loving son, brother, husband and most importantly, a magnificent father. He lived his life selflessly with honor and integrity. He played hard, loved harder and had an unspoken conviction for those he held dear to his heart.
Don was the best of the best. He is affectionately remembered by his family as "number 1". Growing up, Don was a perfectionist. He didn't leave the driveway unless his Jeep Wrangler was shining. He spent countless hours in the garage, working on his cars, his motors, and his ATVs. At the races, Don was the man who could fix anything. He had the parts, the skills, and was always ready to offer a helping hand. He would give you the shirt off his back; that's the kind of man he was.
He started his high-rise window cleaning business, Performance Services Incorporated (PSI), in the mid 1990s. Don and his crew would often dress up as superheroes and repel outside the windows of Lehigh Valley Children's Hospital, putting on a show for the kids. He worked alongside his best friends and in recent years, his son Dane. He never shied away from hard work, he was often the first to show up and the last to leave. Aside from his business, his passion was his family. He spent the past 15 years helping his son build his motocross legacy, traveling the country with his beautiful family.
Donald is survived by his beloved mother, Charlotte Molander, of Harrisburg, PA, and a brother, Richard (Sandy) Molander, of Harrisburg, Pa. He is also survived by Nieces Heather and Shannon Molander, Brooke Danner, Nephews Robert and Brandon Danner, and a wealth of friends and family who love and will miss him profoundly.
Donald is preceded in death by his father Donald Molander Sr.; beloved wife Kim; his children, Dane and Miranda; a nephew, Richard Molander Jr., and his best bud, the family dog, Rue.
Friends and family may come to pay their respects on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 9:00 to 11:45 AM, at the Christian Life Assembly Church, 2645 Lisburn Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A funeral service will follow, at the church, at Noon. A private family interment will be held after the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in honor of the Molander family, to Lehigh Valley Children's Hospital.

I was a customer of Don's, he said if I ever needed to talk to him, call at 7am sharp and he'd pick up. He did, every single time. I am stunned to have just learned of this tragic accident and loss of the Molander family. Even as someone who didn't know him well, I attest that he would have given me the shirt off his back, he was just that kind of guy. One of his PSI guys gave me a call to deliver the news personally, that's the kind of business Don and Kim ran. I will definitely miss you, Don.
