Dane William Molander

Dane William Molander, age 19, passed away on August 9, 2023, in Franklin County, PA. He was born in Harrisburg, PA on September 4, 2003, to the late Donald and Kimberly (nee Danner) Molander.
Dane was raised in the Middletown area and graduated from Middletown Area High School in 2021. Throughout his short life, Dane developed his love of riding ATVs into a career as a professional ATV motocross rider. With the help of his family, he traveled all over the country, competing in races and turning his passion into a dream career. One of his most significant accomplishments was winning the Pro-AM championship in 2022 after a close points battle. Dane was a mentor for the young riders. When he wasn't racing, he could typically be found at the start gate with the kids, setting them up and passing out fist bumps.
In addition to riding ATVs, Dane also loved horseback riding with his fiancée, Alli Trudell, as well as building his truck and going to truck meets. He worked with his father, Don, cleaning windows on high-rise buildings for the family business. Always quick with a smile, Dane loved to spend time with his friends and was well-known for his sense of humor. He never failed to put a smile on people's faces and he was always laughing. He loved his family dog, Rue. Dane spent a lot of time playing video games, Rue was typically found lying at his feet.
Dane is enjoying a heavenly reunion with his parents, Donald and Kimberly, as well as his sister, Miranda Molander, and his family dog, Rue. He leaves behind his paternal grandmother, Charlotte Molander, of Harrisburg, PA, his uncles and aunts, Robert and Trish Danner, of Harrisburg, PA and Richard and Sandy Molander of Harrisburg, PA, as well as cousins Brooke, Robert and Brandon Danner, and Heather and Shannon Molander. He also leaves behind his Fiancé, Allison Trudell.
Friends and family may come to pay their respects on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 9:00 to 11:45 AM, at the Christian Life Assembly Church, 2645 Lisburn Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A funeral service will follow, at the church, at Noon. A private family interment will be held after the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in honor of the Molander family, to Lehigh Valley Children's Hospital.
