Donald Ray Myers, age 77 of Dodgeville, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 28, 2025. He was born on March 29, 1948, in Carthage, MO to Paul and Mildred (Derry) Myers.
Don and his wife Idell (Loy) were married January 12, 1985, and lived in Barneveld, WI. Then moved to Rock Hill, SC, before settling in Dodgeville, WI, where they both worked at Lands' End prior to retiring.
As a dad and grandpa, Don loved his kids and grandkids with all his heart and loved it when everyone was all together.
Don was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Mildred; granddaughter Kendall Loy; parents-in-law Emmett and Kate Loy; and brothers Paul Jr., Robert, and Kenny.
Don is survived by his wife Idell; children: Donnita (Steve) Lazers, Donald Myers II, Laura Loy, Kristy (Austin) Mueller, and Matthew (Danielle) Reed; grandchildren: Josh, Makala, Tim, Sonja, Kaleb, Charlotte, Wade, Ava, Addy, Jackson, Cora, and Emery; brothers- and sisters-in-law: Jeff (Mel) Loy, Myrna Schaaf, Mike (Pam) Loy, Patty (Rich) Reinke, Linda (Curt) Moriva, Tim (Yvette) Loy, Randy Loy, Emmett (Beth) Loy, Wendy Loy, Tammie (Steve) Winkers, and Marc Loy; as well and other family members and friends.
At Don's request, a Celebration will be held at a later date. The Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home is serving the family. Online condolences can be made at www.houckfuneralhomes.com
