Donald Lawrence Neuville, age 90, of Linden, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026, at Linden Presbyterian Church, 119 W. Broad Street, Linden, with Pastor Dawn Russell officiating. Visitation will take place from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad Street, Linden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Linden Presbyterian Church.
Don was born on November 29, 1935, in Flint, the son of the late Albert Maurice and Greta Fay (Hager) Neuville. He was a 1954 graduate of Linden High School and married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Gundry, on September 7, 1957. Don earned his bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University in 1958 and later graduated from McCormick Theological Seminary in 1966.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving on active duty from 1958 to 1963 and in the reserves from 1968 to 1987, retiring with the rank of Colonel. A lifelong resident of Linden, Don devoted his life to his family, faith and community, serving as Pastor of Linden Presbyterian Church for more than 32 years, until his retirement in 1997. Even in retirement, he remained a cherished presence in the community, a friend, mentor, and source of comfort to many.
Don is survived by his children, Jeffery (Sue), Roderick (Tammy), Mark (Loretta), and Jane (Tom); his grandchildren, Michelle, Kim, Kristen, Kody, Brett, Jewel, Ryan, Jason, Adam, Paul, and Lee; 14 great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Beverly Neuville, and brother-in-law, Don (Judy) Gundry. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pat; his son, Steve; his daughter, Cary; his brothers, Harry and Edward; and his sister, Elaine.
