Donald Hoy Newman

Donald Hoy Newman, born on March 12, 1937, in Affinity, West Virginia, passed away on February 8, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories, laughter, and love.
Donald had a deep passion for life, always finding joy in the things he loved most. He spent his younger years racing stock cars and later found camaraderie playing pool with his friends. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed traveling, camping, and skeet shooting. His love for Western movies, NASCAR, and Dale Earnhardt was well known to those around him.
For 20 years, Donald successfully ran his own construction business, showcasing his dedication and hard work. His greatest adventure, however, was the 38 wonderful years he shared with his wife, Donna, after they married in Hawaii. His quick wit and sense of humor brought joy to all who knew him.
Donald was preceded in death by his infant son Dennis, his sons Larry and Donald, his sister Deloris, and his brothers Billie and Cecil.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna, his children, grandchildren, and a host of family and friends who will carry on his memory and honor the legacy of a life well lived.
Donald's presence, laughter, and love will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those whose lives he touched.
