Donald Lee Nice

Donald Lee Nice passed away peacefully on March 18,2024 at 12:15pm at Calvert Hospital after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving wife Missy and his loving children Dawson and Katelyn.

Donald was born on August 26, 1970 in Prince Frederick, MD to Clarence and Josphine Nice. Donald married the love of his life Melissa (Missy) Poore on September 5, 1992. They have 2 children Dawson Lee and Katelyn Elizabeth.

Donald Lee was a jack of all trades. He ran many successful businesses. He was a hardworking man that focused on taking care of his family that he loved very much. Sitting still was not in his DNA, which made him the hardworking man he was.

Donald enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed adventures along the way, whether it was traveling to different places in our country with family, fishing with his brothers, riding his sling shot playing his favorite ACDC songs. Everyone knew he was nearby when riding it. He loved searching for wildlife like deer, bear, and moose. He enjoyed playing games, whether it was cards, bingo, Yahtzee, anything that brought family and friends together.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Missy, his son Dawson Lee, his daughter Katelyn. He is survived by many siblings: Clarence, Harry, Joseph, Walter, George, Robert, Leon, Brenda, Maryann, John, and Patti. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Josphine Nice and one brother Frank Nice.

The funeral will be held at Lee’s Funeral Home in Owings, MD. Viewing will be Wednesday March 27, 2024 at 6-8pm and Thursday March 28, 2024 at 10am-12pm, with funeral service following at the funeral home.
