Donald passed peacefully September 30th, 2025 at the Traditions of North Willow Memory Care in Indianapolis IN.

Don was proud of his heritage and being born in Oblong, IL. Don was a college graduate who was employed by Ford Motor Company for over 30 years. He was a faithful member of Gracepoint Baptist Church in New Whiteland. He was a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs.

He is survived by his wife Nancy (Dennis, Byrket ,Odell). Don and Nancy were married August 12, 1995. He was a devoted husband who told Nancy every day how beautiful she was. They enjoyed spending the winter in Florida for several years.

He was proceeded in death by his father David Odell and his mother Velma Rhodes O'Dell; Earline O'Dell Beabout, sister and Robert O'Dell, brother.

He is survived by daughters Debbie Henninger, Mary Yates, and son Gary O'Dell. Grandchildren Jennifer Henninger Fair, Mark Nicholas Henninger, and Matthew Henninger and eleven great-grandchildren.

He will be fondly remembered by his step-children as well, Virginia Byrket-McLain, Carol Parker, Judi Morris, Tim Byrket and Kim Byrket.

A special thanks to the Memory Care staff at Traditions of North Willow who provided excellent care and support during his final months. The family also thanks Paradigm Hospice who supported Don and his family in his final days.
