Donald E. Perry

Donald E. Perry, age 89 years, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash on Friday evening, January 9, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Christine (nee Thacker) Perry. Dear father of Donna Wood, Diana (John) Camardo and Daphne (Timothy) Huitger. Loving grandfather of Megan (Adam) Ante, Mallory (Andy) Kalb, Christina (Tony) Burton, Ryan (Hillary) Camardo, Caitlin (Matthew) Wetterich; Andrew, Matthew and Jonathan Huitger and great grandfather of Austin, Parker, Chase, Macy, Emmett, Scarlett, Ava and Gianna. Devoted companion of Betty Russell Whitaker. Dear brother of Clarence (Rita) Perry, Lorene Branscum, Wilma (the late L.J.) Anderson and the late Della (the late Leroy) McKee.

Don was a longtime member of the College Hill/Harry S. Johnson Lodge No. 641, F. & A.M., the Royal Order of Jesters, Cincinnati Court No. 7, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite and the Syrian Temple Shrine. He proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1954-1958 aboard the aircraft carrier USS Randolph. After his military service, he was employed as a Machinist for 42 years at Ford Motor Company and was a proud member of the UAW. An avid UK Basketball fan, Don held season Wildcat tickets for over 60 years. Visitation will be held at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy on Wednesday, January 14 from 10 AM until time of Masonic and Funeral services at 12 Noon. Entombment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be directed to Shriners Children's Hospital.
