Donald E. Pickle, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Anita Kathleen Pickle (nee Baumann); cherished son of the late Jerome Walker and Mabel Ethyl Pickle (nee Harris). Devoted father of Peggy Ann (Steve) Dill, Chris (Vickie) Pickle, Mike (Angela) Pickle, and Carla (Kevin) Zerr; loving grandfather of Ricky Dill, Andy Pickle, Sarah Pickle, Jake (Veronica) Pickle, Ben Zerr, Jamilyn Pickle, Jeremiah Dill, and Melissa Dill; dear brother of Samuel "Bill" (Sandy) Pickle; cousin, Lynda (the late Joe) Chambers; in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Preceded in death by sister, JoAnn (the late Edgar) Urchison; two brothers, Clyde (Julie) Pickle and Tom (Mary) Pickle.
Don proudly served in the United States Air Force. He retired from General Motors after 30 years and was a member of the UAW. Don loved fishing, card games, and quality time with his family. Whether casting a line or playing cards, he found joy in these simple pleasures. His gatherings were marked by laughter and animated storytelling, creating timeless memories with loved ones. Don was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Donald 's name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
