Donald Price age 86 of South Boston, nicknamed "Dimo", passed away on July 21, 2025. Born on September 10, 1938, in Eastport, Maine, and later raised in South Boston from the age of two.

A proud United States Marine, Donald served his country with honor before beginning a distinguished career with the Boston Fire Department on May 12, 1971, retiring as a respected Chief. Donald found joy in reading and debating. He was an avid supporter of the Boston Bruins, rarely missing a game.

He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl and his five children, Jeff, Chris, Scott, Jill and Paul. He leaves behind ten cherished grandchildren and two great grandchildren, with more on the way! Donald was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Doris, and his siblings Ernest, Virginia, Evelyn, Lenny and Paul.

Visiting Hours in the O'Brien Funeral Home 146 Dorchester St South Boston on Saturday August 2nd from 11am-1pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.

Donald's legacy of strength, loyalty, independence and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Semper Fi.
