Donald was born in Houston Texas to Roy and Johanna Reese. He graduated from MB Smiley High School in 1972. While in high school he was very involved in AG & FFA. He was a Cub Scout & a Boy Scout. Then he went on to attend one year at San Jac College, studying diesel mechanics and found his career in truck driving. He drove for Brinks and several other truck driving jobs. He worked for TDCJ Ellis Unit in Huntsville Texas for 10+ years as a guard.
Donald was married for 35 years to Elaine and they lived in Phelps Texas for the last 10 years.
Donald's true passion was music. He loved playing the guitar, listening to oldies and picking with his neighbor and best friend, Bruce, on his front porch, every chance he could get. He had a passion for old cars and loved his 1962 Ford Van, which he received as a graduation gift in 1972. He loved his dogs Buddy and Cheyenne.
Donald passed away on August 7 2024 in the Huntsville Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his:

Wife: Elaine Reese
Daughters: Tina Delph and Tasha Shepherd and husband Michael
Grandchildren: Kayle, Lauryn, Justice, EJ, Joe, Jake and Conner
Brother: Edward Reese and wife Belinda
Sister In law: Ann Fowler and husband Floyd
Brother in law: Sammy Hayes and wife Elizabeth
Aunts: Margaret and husband Floyd and Sue Busch
Nieces: Jennifer High and husband Curtis, Misty Cornell and husband Tom and Brandice Reese
Along with numerous beloved friends and family.
