Donald Riley, 86, of Walnut Ridge, passed peacefully from this life on November 3, 2025. He was born on February 9, 1939, in Tuckerman, Arkansas, to Oscar and Ida (Miller) Riley.

A man of faith, Donald was a devoted member of Tuckerman Assembly of God Church, where he found strength, comfort, and community throughout his life. He retired from Norandal in Newport after many years of dedicated service, known by his coworkers as a hardworking, dependable, and kind man.

Donald had a deep love for the outdoors and a lifelong passion for coon hunting. Some of his happiest moments were spent in the woods with his loyal dog, Loaded Dice, by his side. His stories of their adventures were told with pride and humor, bringing smiles to those who knew him best.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of forty years, Edith Guffey Riley; his brothers, Larry Riley, Edward Riley, Charles Riley, O.L. Riley, Silas Riley, and J.C. Riley; and his sisters, Imogene Riley and Ruby Dean.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Regina Bennett (Donnie) of Hoxie; sons, Charles Riley (Kimberly) of Pleasant Plains and Donald Riley Jr. of Tuckerman; his step-daughter, Susan Killgore (Wayman) of Wynne his; his brothers, Doyle Riley of Tuckerman and Bo Riley (Betty) of Tuckerman; his sister, Hilda Bradley of Newport; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Donald Riley will be remembered for his kind heart, his strong faith, and his love for family and the simple joys of life. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he leaves behind will continue to bring comfort and warmth to all who loved him.

Honorary pallbearers are Bill Lewis, Chris Clark, Jerry Hopkins, Brandon Gilleyn, Greg Riley and Benny Malone.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Dowell's Chapel Cemetery with Rosemary Ethridge officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6th at DFHC.
