Donald Edward Scott
March 31, 1965 – February 7, 2022
Donald (Don) Edward Scott, 56, passed away at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis on February 7, 2022, due to an extended hospital stay as a result of complications from a surgical procedure. Don was a native of Indianapolis where he lived his entire life. He was a 1983 graduate of Ben Davis High School. His wife Lisa of over 35 years describes him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a good provider. "He lived life hard and played hard too!" Don worked the past 8+ years as a Commercial Vehicle Tire Inspector at Central Indiana Tire Retreading Company.
Don was preceded in death by his grandparents, Darrell (1990) and Floy (2002) Scott, his parents, Stanley A. (2010) and Elva Jean (Wetzle) (2004) Scott and an infant brother, David Scott (1957).
He leaves behind his wife, Lisa M. (Kleeman) Scott, six children, David (Cheyenne) Carrender, Donald Scott II, Alan (Amber) Scott, Michael (Rachel) Scott, Kristena Scott, Nikki Scott, and adopted granddaughter Jayda Scott, 17 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Darrell (Fe) Scott, Stanley (Diane) Scott Jr, Richard (Lori) Scott and Many beloved extended family, in-laws, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service and Visitation will be held at the Harry W. Moore Funeral Home – Indiana Funeral Care at 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250 on Friday, February 25, 2022 From 3-5PM. The service will take place at 3:30 PM
