Donald Charles Sieber

Donald Charles Sieber, 90 of Kalamazoo, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on July 27, 2023. Don was born on August 16, 1932, in Watervliet, MI to Robert and Lucille (Whitman) Sieber.
Some of Don's favorite things included spending time with his family, traveling in his RV, farming, golfing, hunting, fishing, bowling, and playing cards. Don retired from General Motors in 1988 after many years of service. Prior to working at General Motors, Don was a police officer in the city of St. Joseph, Michigan. He was a member of Northeastern Baptist Church.
Don is survived by his loving wife of over 70 years, Marilyn. He had four children, Chuck and Martha (Kemendy) Sieber, Mary and Vern Hetz, Julie and Jeff Hanson, Jeff and Krissy (Wesseling) Sieber. He had 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving Don is his sister, Bonnie Hewitt, of Portage.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 622 S Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007 on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and again on Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Northeastern Baptist Church. A funeral service at the church will begin at 11:00 am with luncheon to follow. Don will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery on the same day after the luncheon.
