Donald Anthony Skrivanos, 68, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away September 26, 2025. He was born May 15, 1957 in Houston, Texas to the late George and Sue Skrivanos.

Don is survived by his brother, Bill Skrivanos of North Little Rock as well as many cousins and extended family and friends. He is also survived by his cherished dogs, Roy and Buddy whom he rescued.

Don prided himself in his independence and work ethic. He was very responsible. From a young teenager Don worked at Willow Springs and Shakey’s Pizza. Beginning in high school, Don worked at JC Penney Auto Center as a sales representative. He went on to work for Acme Brick in Houston, Texas followed by briefly selling Yellow Pages in Little Rock. Don joined the Little Rock Jaycees in the 1980’s before going to work with his father in Investment Banking at BJ Compton & Sons and then Crews and Associates in Little Rock.

Don’s health forced him into early retirement in 2003. He later became very involved at New Life Church and was a member of the production team and highly thought of by his church family.

He developed an avid interest in golf and worked as a Marshall at Rebsamen Park in North Little Rock. In more recent years, Don went to work at Crain Mazda and then Crain Chevrolet. He was valued and respected by his work family. Don was also a member of the North Little Rock Parks Commission. He was a member of the Bible Study Fellowship.

Don’s most important relationship was with Jesus Christ. He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age while attending The Bible Church in Little Rock with his family.

Don was very conservative in politics but very liberal in love, empathy, and generosity.

Don will lie in state on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home (8801 Knoedl Ct.) A funeral service will be held at Greater Little Rock - New Life Church (8000 Crystal Hill Road, NLR) on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 12:30 PM with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
