Margie Ann Sheldon, 87, of Parkway Village, Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on September 28th, 2025. She was born October 23,1937 in Texarkana, AR to the late Charlie and Sallie Ann Higgs. She was a Certified Professional Secretary and retired from Federal Service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Winslow Grey Sheldon, brothers Grady, Ray, Floyd and Charles Higgs and sisters, Myrtle Robbins and Irene Smeltzer. She is survived by son, Steven Sheldon (Misty) of Van Buren, AR; daughters, Sandy Sheldon of Conway, AR and Tina Sheldon Green (Allen) of Hensley, AR; three grandchildren, Lucas Green (Marisa) of Little Rock, AR, Lacy Green of North Little Rock, AR, and Aden Sheldon of Van Buren, AR; three great grandchildren, Samuel and Jacob Green, and Melanie Kate Green-Vasquez. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock.
Visitation and celebration of life will be at Smith Little Rock Funeral on October 1st with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. and service 2:00 p.m. Service officiated by Grady Higgs.
Burial service with family the following day at Restland Memorial Cemetery in Carthage, Texas, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Baptist Homes for Children or charity of choice.
