Donald James "Jim" Snell

Donald "Jim" James Snell, 80, a beloved husband, father, step-grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully this past weekend in Hudsonville, Michigan, where he resided. Born in Florida, Jim brought warmth and kindness to all who knew him, leaving a lasting legacy in his community. He worked 50+ years driving long haul (Truck Driver). He loved every bit of it. He cherished it as much as he could.
Jim was the devoted husband of Nancy Lee Snell, with whom he shared a life filled with love and companionship. Amanda, his lovely dog was his companion on the road for 14 years. He was a proud father to his two daughters, Tisha and Kim, who will cherish his memory. Jim is also survived by his brother, Dave Snell, as well as his step-grandchildren, who adored his gentle spirit and stories of his Florida roots. He also had 3 grandchildren, Anna, Grayson, and Levi.
A man of quiet strength, Jim made Hudsonville his home, where he built deep connections and lived with purpose. His life was marked by dedication to his family and a warm, welcoming presence that touched many lives. The family requests planting a tree in his honor. Jim's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
