Donald Stevens Obituary
Donald C. Stevens, 67, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Private burial will take place at Rock Island National Cemetery.
Donald Clifton Stevens was born December 11, 1957, in Moline, Illinois, the son of George and Agnes (Smilges) Stevens. He proudly served in the United States Army.
He had a love for simple pleasures, especially taking out his metal detector and going “bottle digging.” He also enjoyed fishing whenever he was able.
Donald is survived by his son, Chad Mink; his sister, Crystal Aldridge; and nephews, Brian Aldridge and Steve (Laura) Brugman. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ronald Stevens; his sister, Joyce Heald; and a nephew, Jeffrey Brugman.
