Clifford J. “Joe” Airgood, 57, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made in his father’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Clifford Josef Airgood was born October 12, 1967, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Clifford and Katharina (Bickel) Airgood. He married the love of his life, Jodi Rome, on September 11, 1993, in Davenport. The couple shared over 32 wonderful years together.
He worked for Horizon Group in Davenport for over 20 years. He later worked at Robertson Manufacturing in Davenport before retiring due to health. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Davenport.
Joe enjoyed fishing, antiquing, and spending time with his family. He was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr., and will be remembered as a story-teller.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jodi; two sons and daughters-in-law, Josef and Riannon Airgood of Alexis, Illinois, and Jakob and Nicole Airgood of Durant, Iowa; two grandchildren, Katy and Carson Airgood; his sister, Kathy Paddie of Bettendorf, and her family; and Jodi’s family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
