Donald Lee Strunk

Donald Lee Strunk, 73, of Howard, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in Lock Haven. He was born on September 29, 1951, in Lock Haven, PA to the late Leroy "Gib" and Shirley (Workman) Strunk. He is survived by his longtime companion of 16 years, Sharon Orndorf, and his faithful dog Ace, who survives at home.

Don was a 1969 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High school. Don worked most of his career for Joseph C. Hazel Plumbing for over 25 years, until his retirement in 2014. He was an avid Penn State Football fan as well as the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Eagles and NASCAR. He found joy in browsing flea markets and yard sales. He was a proud member of the Beech Creek American Legion Post 623 and Howard VFW Post 8269.

In addition to his companion Sharon, he is survived by his daughter, Dena (Ben) Falls and 4 grandchildren Skylar, Kaden, Austynn, and Ashton Falls. His siblings, Willard (Carolyn) Strunk, Sherry Falls, Casey(Wendy) Strunk, Phillip (Lesa) Strunk and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his sister Lori Christine Strunk.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 5pm until 6pm at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. 135 W. Main Street Howard. A memorial service will begin at 6pm at the funeral home with Pastor Phillip Strunk officiating. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
