Donald Tauzin Obituary
Breaux Bridge - Donald James Tauzin, 80, passed away on November 20, 2025 at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center.
Donald was a distinguished tug boat captain who saved several lives over the course of his long career. He was also a proud member of the Cajun Heritage Carving group and served as a guide with Champagne's Swamp Tours, where he warmly greeted visitors with their trademark saying, 'Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler.'
He is survived by his son, Mark Tauzin (Tiffany Gallien); brother, Tony Tauzin (Dolly); sisters, Marilyn Tauzin Breaux (Aaron) and Linda Tauzin Leblanc (Curtis).
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Claude and Gladys Tauzin; and brother, John Tauzin.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
