Donald Eugene Tonelli
March 2, 1950 - August 18, 2025
A devoted husband, father and grandfather was called home on August 18, 2025, at the age of 75. Stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Don served his country honorably in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War. He worked 34 years as a Journeyman Glazier. Don had a passion for history, hunting and metal detecting. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Tonelli and Ada Pickett and his brother, Robert Tonelli. Don is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Lyn Tonelli (Major); daughter, Tara Griffin; grandsons, Ryan and Rowen Griffin; his sisters, Nancy Tonelli (Karen), Ann Weipert, Lynn Garlock (Bill) and Lori Tonelli (Laura). He will be loved for eternity and in our hearts as he watches over us from heaven. Services will be held Sept 3, 2025. A viewing and service will be given at 9660 Old Redwood Highway in Windsor from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. followed by burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery 2930 Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa at 1:30 p.m.
