Donald Richard Tull, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
Donald was born on July 16, 1940, to Clarence and Dorothy Tull. He served proudly in the US Army for six years. He then spent 44 years as a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). On May 20, 1968, he married his wife, Sandra. Together they raised three daughters: Kristin Edwards, Dawn Rhoads, and Patricia Combs.
Donald cherished spending time with his family. On weekends, you could find him cheering on his favorite sports teams in the company of loved ones. He loved playing his mandolin and singing and listening to bluegrass music. Throughout the years, music brought him many great friendships. He also enjoyed fishing, was a proud member of the Ocean City Marlin Club,and played golf.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Clarence, mother, Dorothy, and brother, Alfred Tull. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, his siblings Patricia Hutson, Charles Tull, and Shirley Smith, his daughters Kristin, Dawn, and Patricia, his eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
On Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 10 AM, a remembrance gathering will be held at St. John Vianney in Prince Frederick, Maryland for family and friends and a blessing and prayer at 11 AM. A reception with lunch will follow.
On Friday, November 4, 2022, at 10:30 AM, there will be a military memorial service and burial at Cheltenham Military Cemetery.
