Obituary of Donald Ray Waddle
Donald Ray Waddle, 87, of Newton, Iowa, formerly of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1937, in Marion County, Iowa, to Ralph and Margery (Webster) Waddle. Donald graduated from Monroe Community High School with the class of 1959.
On May 29, 1970, he was united in marriage to Betty Ann Wickliff in Knoxville, Iowa. He spent many years farming in the Monroe area and enjoyed tinkering in his spare time.
Donald is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Waddle; his daughter, Tami Mixdorf of Monroe; and his granddaughters, Jordyn and Jenna Mixdorf. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Norman and Kenneth "Gene" Waddle; and his sister, Freda Waddle.
No services are scheduled. Memorials may be designated to the Monroe Fire Department in his name and can be dropped off at Pence-Reese Funeral Home.
