Wayne Boze Funeral HomeDonald Ray Walker, age 76, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away on March 17th, 2026. He was born on December 13th, 1949 along with his twin brother Ronny in Athens, Texas. He was a devoted husband to Jacki Walker and a loving father to Brandi Blair and Zack Walker.
Donny was loyal and the life of the party. He spent many years on the freight dock where he was known as DFW. He never knew a stranger and was a man of kindness, integrity, and generosity. He left a lasting impact on everybody who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Jacki Walker, their daughter Brandi Blair, son-in-law Gilbert Blair, their son Zack Walker, and daughter-in-law Jill Walker. He is also survived by their grandchildren, Ian French, Kodi Blair, Ashton Williams, Bryce Walker, Beau Blair, Tyson Williams, Ivy Blair, and Ryan Walker, and his great grandchildren Kynlee French, Dalton Walker, and River Blair. Additionally, his surviving siblings Thomas Walker, Nancy Curiel, and brother-in-law Alex Curiel. He is preceded in death by his Father Neulan “Bud” Walker, his mother Rachel Walker, his sister Becky Nix, his brother Dewayne Walker, his twin brother Ronny Walker, and his baby sister Janyce Hawthorne. Additionally, he is survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held on April 3rd, 2026 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home at 1826 W. Hwy 287 business, Waxahachie, Texas, 75165. There will be a visitation at 10:00 AM and the service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at 2:00 PM at the DFW Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas, 75211.
