Donald "Donnie" Lewis Webb, 65, of Georgetown, SC died on March 27, 2025 at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Born June 27, 1959 in Baltimore City, MD, he was the son of Forest Webb, Jr. and Marion Eleanor Feitz Webb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his brother, David Webb; two sisters, Ruthe Webb Faber and Sandra Webb Collins; and a nephew, Jimmy Collins.
Donnie was a simple man that was an avid drag racing fan. He enjoyed bowling, always aiming for that perfect strike and often bowling a perfect 300. A lover of animals, he found joy in the companionship of his pets, who were cherished members of his family. His heart also beat to the rhythm of Creedence Clearwater Revival and the soulful sounds of Motown, filling his home with music that defined his spirit. Known for his warm heart and welcoming nature, Donnie never met a stranger and treated everyone he met like family. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his loved ones, creating memories that will live on in their hearts forever. His passing leaves a void, but his legacy of love, joy, and friendship will never be forgotten.
Donnie is survived by his wife, Ruth Webb, who he shared more than 48 years of companionship with. In addition, he is survived by one brother, Eddie Webb; one sister, Sharon Webb; eight nephews; Eddie Webb, David Webb, Jake Faber, Joseph Faber, Justin Faber, Jeff Faber, Jimmy Zeck, and Brian Bennett; three nieces, Tammy Collins, Barbie Zeck and Heather Allen; six great nephews and eight great nieces.
Visitation will be held at the Downtown Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home & Crematory, 222 St. James Street, Georgetown, SC 29440 on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
