Donald Paul Williams, aged 47, passed away on January 16, 2025, in Edwardsburg, Michigan. Born on October 29, 1977, to Donald Williams and Paula (Eder) Williams in South Bend, Indiana, Donald's warm spirit and joyful heart touched everyone he knew.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Deborah (Johnson) Williams and his adored sons, Ashton, Shane, and Preston. Donald's life was also enriched by the presence of his sister, Teresa Bucks; his nephew Joshua Lamon; and his stepmom Sandi Steinbaugh. Though his parents, Donald Williams, and Paula Williams, both preceded him in death, they played an instrumental role in shaping the man he became.
Known for his love of video games, his passion for basketball, and his reputation as a phenomenal cook and grill master, Donald's zest for life was contagious. He was known for his sense of humor and his ability to make others laugh. His legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. Donald loved to attend and had so much pride watching Preston play football for the Niles Vikings middle school and watching Shane play varsity tennis for the Niles Vikings. He had tears in his eyes whenever they would win and never missed a game/tennis match. He also took great pride in going to Josh's wrestling events. These were things he always looked forward to and enjoyed more than anything.
Don loved spending time with Judy Johnson, his mother-in-law. They spent countless days together, having delicious breakfasts, going on adventures driving down unknown roads just to see what's there to look at. Judy was his basketball buddy; they loved watching basketball together. He loved being home full-time with her.
In keeping with Donald's wishes, there will be no formal services held at this time.
