Donald Leroy Workman, 61, of Pittsburg, died at 12:32 p.m., Saturday, September 27, 2025, in the Medicalodge of Frontenac.

Donald was born March 25, 1964, in Pittsburg, a son of Donald Roy and Jo Ann (Coester) Workman.

He grew up in Pittsburg, graduated from Pittsburg High School, and worked at various jobs in the Pittsburg area.

Donald enjoyed fishing and playing video games.

Survivors include his mother, Jo Ann Workman, of Pittsburg, a brother, Michael Workman, of Pittsburg, 3 children, 3 grandchildren, his uncle, Jim Coester, and his wife, Cindy, of Brazilton, Kansas, his aunt, Karen Oesch, and her husband, Cliff, of rural Rolla, Missouri, and his nieces and nephews.

Donald was preceded in death by his father on January 16, 2017.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday at the Girard Cemetery with Reverend Derek Harmon officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery and burial will follow the services. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, and these may be left at the service or the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 518 W St. John, Box 258, Girard, 66743.
