Donald was born September 29, 1951 in Chickamauga, GA to parents, William Jackson and Nada Viola Avans Young. He spent most of his working years a truck driver and the last several years peddling produce at trade days and roadside markets. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family after retiring.
Survivors include sons, Michael Nabors(Stephanie), Ronald Nabors, Cody Nabors, grandchildren, Chandler Nabors(Tori), Mitchell Nabors(Snow), Chloe Nabors, Raylee Nabors, Camrin Burnett(Logan), Chrystal Smith, Landon Plank, Trinity Bettis, Tavin Hannah, Andrea Friday, six great-grandchildren, sister, Gloria Parrot(Raymond), sister-in-law, Karen Young, special niece, Tara Young, son-in-law, Chris Tate. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Donald Ray "Pig" Young Jr., and daughter, Tonya Tate.
