Dondra Childers Hendrix, 50, of Fairmount, Georgia, passed-away on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at AdventHealth Gordon of complications from heart issues.
She was born in Cartersville, Georgia, on October 9th, 1973, to Sandra Stafford Childers and the late George Childers. She attended Fairmount High School through 1991 and graduated in the Class of 1992 at Gordon Central High School. She was an Office Administrator and self-employed as a bookkeeper. More importantly, a tireless mom to her two sons, caring wife and loving daughter to Sandra and George. Dondra’s strong spirit and ethic persevered even after a life changing injury at age 41. After rehabilitating at the Shepherd Center, she was quickly back to seeing Dawson and Donovan to and through grade school and further with Dawson graduating from Kennesaw State University and Donovan entering nursing school, without missing an event. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and daughter.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Blake Childers, Marvin Hendrix, Noah Strickland, Paton Dempsey, Jaxon Prater, Wesley Hathcox. Honorary Pallbearers are Herman Childers and Jeff Stafford.
