Donella Ruth Daily went to be with the Lord on August 19, 2025. She was born June 9, 1941 in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Harold and Lois Rohrer. She graduated from Hoover High School in 1959.

Faith was the foundation of her life. She was a long-time active member of First Christian Church in Canton, Ohio. She served as a volunteer at the Canton Christian Home, through sewing projects and by offering encouragement to residents - long before she herself moved into the facility in May 2022. She was faithfully cared for by many close friends.

She married Thomas H. Daily on December 14, 1966. Donella and Thomas traveled across many states - including North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Ohio - where they owned and operated restaurants.

Donella loved gardening, sewing, crafting, and reading. She cherished time with her family, as a devoted mother and wife. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who knew her lovingly as "Mimi." Her wisdom, strength, faith, and love of family will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lois; her husband, Thomas; and her grandson, Kody.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Reed, Kurt Reed, and Amy Daily; her stepchildren and their families, Scott (Kim) Daily, Denise (Billy) Daily, and John (Debbie) Daily; her grandchildren, Kyle, Kandice, Kenan, Kiara, Kamille, and Ka'Lyse; her great-grandchildren, Jaeden and Karleigh; her brothers, Richard (Marjorie) Rohrer of Colorado Springs, CO, Wayne Rohrer of Ft. Myers, FL, and James (Dana) Rohrer of Burlington, IA; along with many dear friends whose lives she touched.

A celebration of life will be held at Canton Christian Home at 2550 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709, on Friday, August 29, 2025. Calling hours will start at 11:00am and the service will start at 11:30am.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Canton Christian Home and the hospice team for their compassionate care.
