Daniel Joseph Green, affectionately known as Danny, was born on January 12, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He peacefully departed this life on October 8, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky, surrounded by his loving family.
Danny was a man who embodied warmth and kindness, recognized for his infectious humor and caring spirit. He was a devoted father and a proud grandfather, cherishing his role in the lives of his children and grandchildren. His pride in his family was evident, and he often spoke of his children, Elizabeth Danielle (Robert Mostler) Green and Stacey Renay Green, with great love. His grandkids, Gavon Timothy Skinner, Samuel Liam Mostler, and Ibreelee Genesis Mostler, were a source of immense joy for him, and he took great delight in watching them grow.
Known for his great cooking, Danny had a special talent for making the best biscuits and gravy. His culinary skills were only outshone by his deep affection for his family and his love for animals, as he frequently took in strays and ensured they received the care they deserved.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, grandchildren, and his siblings: Judith Ann Green, Renay Green, Joshua Green, Sandy Harris, and Michael Harris. In addition, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends who will remember him fondly.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Marie Harris (nee Drury), his father, Albert Ray Green, as well as his sisters Debbie and Cedrina, and his brother Samuel. Each of them shaped him into the loving person he was and are now united with him in spirit.
