Donna Lynn Anderson,53, of Kingsport/Greeneville, TN went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 13, 2024.
Donna was born in Kingsport, TN but lived in Greeneville, TN most of her life. Donna was a loving daughter, wife, mother, mamaw, aunt, and sister. She spent her whole life taking care of her kids and helped with her grandkids any time she could. Donna helped take care of everyone else and loved her whole family so much. She was the greatest mother and mamaw. Donna will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edith and Harvey Forbes, Edna and John Harvey, and father, Emory Harvey Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Rahn Anderson; mother, Bessie Beatrice Harvey; son, Allen Laney; daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Alex Smith; grandson, James Smith; granddaughter, Lillian Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Edie and Richard Knapp; brother and significant other, Buddy Harvey and Becky Boyd; nephews, Denver Knapp, Austin Knapp (Mollie Knapp), James Harvey; niece, Emily Short (Ross Short); great-nephew, Ethan Short; great-nieces, Isabell Short, Brooklyn and Mary Knapp; close friend, Misty Churchwell, and many cousins and many in laws.
The family will receive friends, April 18, 2024, from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Nick Bailey officiating.
Graveside service will be April 19, 2024, at 12:00pm at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Allen Laney, Matt Laney, Dillon Laney, Ross Short, John Anderson, and Mike Hicks.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Buddy Harvey and Michael Proback.
