Donna Anderson Obituary
Donna M. Anderson, 90, of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family under the care of Vivie Hospice.
Donna Marie Johnson was born February 25, 1935, to Rolland and Ruth (Sandahl) Johnson at the family home in Fergus Falls. She attended Jefferson Elementary School and Fergus Falls Junior High School graduating in 1954.
On May 29, 1954, she married Arland "Bud" Anderson in Fergus Falls. She farmed with her husband; milking cows, raising feeder cattle, grain, corn, and beans until Bud's death in 1991. She worked at the Fergus Falls Veterinarian Clinic, Midwest Atlas Company, and Charter Communications, retiring in 2005. Donna also was a dishwasher and catered for the Viking Café.
She was a member of Buse Homemakers, Eagles Auxiliary, and VFW Auxiliary. She also served on the Alter Guild for her church for many years. Donna loved roller skating, ice skating, and reading. She traveled to many cities watching her grandchildren in rodeo and hockey.
Donna is survived by her children, Steve (Kay) Anderson, Wendy (Wayne) Schiesser, and Dana (Lori) Anderson; grandchildren, Chad (Dawn) Anderson, RJ (Jessica) Anderson, Amy (Brent) Mastermann, Adam (Lisa) Drechsel, Angie (Chris) Julsrud, Kyle Maack, Thomas (Ali) Schiesser, Reba (Kraig) Cersovsky, Stuart (Cassidy) Schiesser, Casey Borstad, Colton (Matthew Syverson) Anderson, Brody (Debbie) Borstad, and Hunter (Mercy) Anderson; 33 great-grandchildren; other family, Allegra Anderson, Vonnie Baker, Diane Prischmann, Paul and Diane Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, "Bud"; sister, Blanche Shol; brothers-in-law, Lucky Shol, Darol Anderson, Bob Baker, and Carl Prischmann; sister-in-law, Donna Lou Anderson, and nieces, Cindy and Amy Shol.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Living Faith Church in Fergus Falls, with visitation one-hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment: First Lutheran North Cemetery, Fergus Falls, MN
