Dennis W. Anderson, 68 of Stephens City, VA, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center.

Dennis was born in 1956 in Clarke County, VA, the son of the late Clifton Byrd Anderson, Sr. and Lola Katherine (Ruffner) Anderson. He started working at 16 years old for Nichols Department Store and retired as a manager for CVS Pharmacy. Dennis was a Die Hard North Carolina Tarheels fan as well as the Washington Redskins and would also follow the Chicago Bulls. He enjoyed going on family fishing outings, dancing or as he would say "to boogie". Dennis was a member of the Winchester Eagles 824, and he was always up for a ride in the country as long as it ended with vanilla ice cream.

He is survived by his wife, Karen whom he married on June 1, 2019; daughter, Jackie Wagner (Michael); stepson, Justin Ganoe; stepdaughter, Corie Ganoe; grandchildren, Alexis Wagner, Katelyn Wagner, Tyler Wagner; step-grandchildren, Scarlett Ganoe, Cameron Ganoe, Carter Sole; sister, Patsy Clem; brothers, Clifton Anderson, Jr. (Diana), Ricky Anderson and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. A very special thank you to his niece, April Clark, an important person throughout his life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 1pm to 4pm at Omps Funeral Home Reception Center, Amherst Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Dennis to Blue Ridge Care, 333 W. Cork St., Suite 405, Winchester, VA 22601.
