Donna Andre Obituary

Donna Louise (Horta) Andre passed away at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born on July 10, 1944 in New Britain, CT to the late Ramon and Marion Horta.
Donna was raised in Belchertown, MA and graduated from Belchertown High School on June 10, 1965. She was an employee of the former Belchertown State School for many years.
Donna was a big fan of Elvis Presley. She was instrumental in starting family trips to York Beach, Maine that for some continue today. Another past time was watching animal shows and QVC.
Donna will be missed by her siblings Marion Nelson (Jim), Ramona Parker and Jacqueline Corbett. She was predeceased by sisters Doris Hebert and Juanita Eckert as well as brother-in-laws Paul Hebert, Walter Eckert, Robert Corbett, Edward Parker and Lloyd Chadbourne. To also cherish her memory is her Goddaughter Lindsay Ruscin of Colorado (Joshua and Sadie) and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to Billy and Cindy Casaldi for the love and support they gave to her as friends and to Bill Musiak. Many thanks to Baystate Hospice for the wonderful care she received.
Memorial donation may be made to Baystate Hospice, 30 Capital Dr. W. Springfield MA 01089 or to Barc, PO Box 161, Belchertown MA 01007.
All arrangements are private and being entrusted to Beers & Story Funeral Home.

Donna was a generous,loving,thoughtful kind soul. It was a privilege to have known her. She was lovingly cared for by her neice Joy and her husband Bob 24/7 care and other family and friends. My sincere condolences
