Donna Argott Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Millspaugh Funeral Directors - Walden on Jan. 11, 2026.
Donna L. Argott of Wallkill, NY, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in Wallkill. She was 65.

The daughter of the late Charles R. Argott and Everetta Koning Argott, she was born July 2, 1960, in Paterson, NJ.

Donna worked as a housekeeping attendant for Woodland Pond in New Paltz. Her spirit was as bold and fearless as the reggae rhythms she loved. Born with a personality that could fill any room, she lived unapologetically loud and proud. Her passions painted the story of her life: an enduring connection to Jamaica and its rich culture, a deep love for monkeys that reflected her playful nature, and a soundtrack of soul music that kept her moving to life's beat. She adored her family fiercely and let's not forget her whimsical affection for Betty Boop.

She taught us all to speak our truth and never shy away from what makes us unique. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and courage. She leaves behind family and friends who will forever cherish her memory and carry her spirit forward. Though she has left this world, she will live on in every reggae song, every Betty Boop smile, and every fearless moment we dare to take.

She is survived by her sisters Linda Snyder and Anna Argott. She is also survived by her nieces Guenevere Argott, Heidi Gomez, Tammy Casholle, Debra Heim, Jenny Kilgannon, Christina Egar, Angela Matsko, Alisha Montalvo, Lisa Davenport, Brandy Argott, Darlene Beato and great niece Bella Volino and nephews Scott Volino, Jason Worden, Charles Argott III, Corey Argott, Edward Folk Jr., Jonathan Jaquez, and great nephew Scott Volino III.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by her brother Edward Argott, her sister Kathleen Argott, her brother Charles Argott Jr., her nephew Tyler Argott, and her sister Charlyn Worden.

Visitation will take place Monday, January 12, 2026, 5pm-7pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.
