Donna was born in Panorama City, CA, to Jim and Billie Hutchins, on October 7th, 1960.
She went to high school at Simi Valley High School and graduated in 1978.
She went on to pursue a career in Dental Assisting at the office of D&G Baker. She met the love of her life, Tom Baldwin, at her ten-year high school reunion, and they married in 1990. She ended her 16-year career after being promoted to Office manager when she had her son, Grant, in 1994. The rest of her life was spent in her favorite role and title as mother, grandmother, and caretaker to all. She and her husband worked diligently for 30 years on their family-owned and -operated business, Baldwin Custom Cabinets, where she was crucial in its operation.
She was passionate about live music and frequented concerts with her friends and family. She was a travel buff who loved vacationing, especially to her favorite destination, Balboa Island. She loved being on the water and enjoyed whale-watching expeditions. Above all else, she valued spending time with loved ones and made a special place in her heart for their cabin in Wyoming, where they all spent time together. Even though it was a recent blessing, she reveled in having a brand new granddaughter and adored her endlessly.
She had a true servant's heart and organized and executed dinners for the homeless for over 25 years at her parish, St. Peter Claver.
Donna is survived by her husband, Tom Baldwin of Simi Valley, along with her son Grant, her daughter-in-law, Priscilla, and her granddaughter, Palmer. She is also survived by her son, Trevor, daughter-in-law, Sheri, and grandchildren, Wyatt and Cambria. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Carla McCorkle, her niece, Bailey, her nephew, Sean, and her father, Jim Hutchins. She is preceded in death by her mother, Billie (Grammy Bee).
