George, 65, passed away after a brief illness.
He was the son of Dick Cathcart and Pamela Drake Cathcart, who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cyndi, his stepmother, Peg, his devoted fur babies, and many siblings and close family, all of whom cherished his presence in their lives, and whose lives will never be the same without him.
George was retired, after many years in the class room technology field at USC Marshall School of Business.
George will be remembered for his kindness, his willingness to help others, and his ability to fix and organize anything.
George’s passions spilled into the hearts of everyone he knew — from his adventures traveling the world with Cyndi, to enjoying the open road on his Harley, to his love of the ocean and surfing, and most of all, his deep love of spending time with family. We will miss his generous heart, and his life lessons and sage advice.
He left us too soon and his kindness will be remembered by all whose lives he touched!
