Donna Rae Barcus, joined her Lord and Savior on February 11, 2026.

Donna was born August 22, 1957 in El Paso, Texas to Willard "Bill" Ragle and Barbara Ragle. Growing up in a military family, she moved around frequently until her family settled in the Kansas City area. She attended Winnetonka High School. On March 11, 1978, she married the love of her life, John Barcus, and from this marriage blessed with two daughters. Donna's caring nature shown threw in her love of animals and children. She operated her own daycare for many years and helped in the rearing of nearly 100 children in her lifetime. She enjoyed the simplest of pleasure in life, especially if it contained chocolate or ice cream.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Barbara Ragle. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her husband, John Barcus; children, John Barcus, Jenna Barcus, and Ashley (Samir) Ibrahimovic; grandchildren, Adin Ibrahimovic, Lauryn Barcus and Harlie Barcus; siblings; Karen (Roger) Wagoner, Peggy (Stan) Lancaster and David (Melinda) Ragle; and many extended family and friends.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery on Monday, February 16, with visitation starting at 10:00am, service will begin at 11:00am, with burial to follow.
