Donna Bell 65, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Southwood Nursing Center of Clinton, NC.
Donna was born in West Virginia on February 20, 1960. She worked for 28 years as a Registered Nurse, most recently for Southern Highlands CMHC in West Virginia. Donna was highly educated in many areas and was a certified heavy equipment operator and yellow taxi cab driver. But she was also a homemaker, taking time to care for her children and her home.
Donna was the best cook ever. She was naturally creative and an artist of many different mediums. Donna was sassy but dispite her spitfire attitude, she had a heart of gold and a giving nature, and nothing proved this more than her fierce love for her family.
Donna loved the beauty of life and always wanted to take time to enjoy the roses and all the wonders created by God. She would encourage everyone to do the same and not waste a moment of the time we have, crying for her. She is free now to wander through the rose gardens of Heaven.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC. Burial will follow in the Anderson Family Cemetery, located at 90 Gardenia Lane, Clinton, NC.
Those who preceded Donna in passing include her mother: Rosalie Anne Lilly and husband: Kenneth Keith Thompson.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2025, in the Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC. The family will also receive friends at other times at the home, 90 Gardenia Lane, Clinton, NC.
Donna's memory will live on through her beloved children: Brittany Hodges of Princeton, WV, Opal Rose Brimlow of Donalsonville, GA, and Jesse Dale Anderson of Clinton, NC. She also leaves one sister: Melody Head of Monroe, NC; and her grandchildren, whom she loved with every piece of her heart: Dorian Orion Robinette, Brandon Lane Belcher, Shandale Juliana Brimlow, and Liam Andrew Uzmack; as well as one great-grandchild: Adeliegh Rose Belcher.
Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation is honored to serve the family of Donna Bell.
